Education Foundation
Since 2002, the Insurance Council of Texas (ICT) has been helping shape the future of the insurance industry by providing scholarships and educational funding to Texas university students. Since then, we’ve awarded over $1.5 million to students pursuing careers in insurance and academic funding to our partner universities.
In 2007, ICT launched the ICT Education Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, to oversee and grow this important scholarship program. Our goal has always been to support the next generation of insurance professionals.
What makes us unique? 100% of all donations go directly to scholarships and various funding for the participating schools. Every dollar you give directly helps students succeed and fuels the future of our industry.

Mission Statement
The mission of the ICT Education Foundation is to promote career opportunities in the Property and Casualty insurance industry, through scholarships and other financial support, for university students enrolled in risk management and insurance programs at participating Texas universities.

ICT Education Foundation Awards $75,000 in Scholarships
Congratulations to the outstanding students selected as recipients of the 2024 ICT Education Foundation scholarships! These students have shown exceptional academic achievement, impressive accomplishments, and a strong passion for the property and casualty insurance industry.
Last year, the foundation was excited to award $75,000 to students pursuing careers in insurance. The Foundation awarded five $5,000 scholarships, ten $2,500 scholarships, and twenty-five $1,000 scholarships. Since 2002, we have awarded over $1.1 million in scholarships to nearly 800 students from twelve Texas universities. Many past recipients have gone on to achieve great success in the insurance industry, and we can't wait to see the future accomplishments of this year’s recipients.
