ICT serves as a trusted and active voice at the Texas Legislature, advocating for fair, balanced, and effective insurance policies on behalf of our members. Our team works closely with lawmakers and their staff to ensure legislation reflects the needs of the insurance industry while safeguarding consumers.
In addition, ICT represents its members at regulatory hearings that impact residential property, private passenger and commercial auto, and workers' compensation insurance.
The Insuring Texas PAC (PAC) is the political action committee of the Insurance Council of Texas. Our mission is to advance the interests of Texas property and casualty insurers while maintaining a strong Texas insurance marketplace. The PAC is dedicated to protecting the political and business interests of ICT member companies in Texas. We engage with, educate, and support elected officials who share our members’ priorities and promote the health of the property and casualty insurance industry.

The mission of the Insurance Council of Texas Education Foundation is to promote careers in the P&C insurance industry through scholarships and other financial support to university students registered at Texas universities that offer risk management/insurance programs.
